ABOUT

Nik Parr is a singer, songwriter, pianist, saxophonist and visual artist living in Austin, Texas. Nik is the frontman and leader of his own touring band, which has played stages across the country since 2017. He also performs as a solo pianist and singer, and as a guest saxophonist with other musicians. Nik has released two full-length albums, and two EP’s along with several singles. Nik began playing shows in public at the age of ten in his hometown of Corpus Christi.

As a visual artist, Nik has built a business showcasing his hand-drawn illustrations. He draws all of the album artwork and show merchandise for his band, along with creating custom art for select clients. With both music and art, Nik is self taught, having refined his skills through hundreds of shows and thousands of hours working with pencils, pastels and paint.

While beginning his music career, Nik attended The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a BBA in Marketing from The McCombs School of Business in 2016. Nik utilizes his business background in creating promotional strategies for his live shows, coordinating with music venues, managing his band’s branding, and social media, and interacting with his fanbase. Nik also provides music consulting services to young artists with a focus on show booking, management, and live performance.
